A special concert of two parts featured one of India’s greatest classical musicians, playing the sitar, a plucked, stringed instrument celebrated for its distinctive lingering sound. The second half of the concert was be led by the European Philharmonia, conducted by Walter Proost. The evening was mesmerizing yet the two sessions were completely distinct. When the concert ended the audience was left with wanting more. The musicians with their own musical instruments merged with the notes of Sitar.
